Q: What's the difference between SnapPlate+ and SnapPlate?
 A: SnapPlate is designed with breakaway features that reduce the chance of damage to the vehicle in touch car washes, parking accidents, and minor mishaps. SnapPlate+ is designed with reinforced features to be as strong as possible. SnapPlate+ is still plastic, so it's safer for the vehicle than metal options, but it's about twice the strength of SnapPlate.
 
Q: Is SnapPlate car wash safe?
A: Touchless washes are generally ok for SnapPlate+, but we recommend removing SnapPlate and SnapPlate+ for all automated car washes to be on the safe side. Touch washes aren't safe for SnapPlate, SnapPlate+, or any of the similar license plate mounts on the market. If touch car washes are your priority, we recommend that you use the adhesive or screwed-on license plate mount provided by your vehicle's manufacturer.
 
Q: I broke my SnapPlate in a car wash, parking accident, or other accident. Is it covered under warranty?

Q: If SnapPlate is easy to remove, isn't it easy to steal?
A: SnapPlates come with an anti-theft torx security screw and screwdriver that can be used to lock it to the vehicle.

Q: SnapPlate doesn't fit my vehicle.
A: Is the SnapPlate that was ordered the correct version for that customer's year, make, and model vehicle? Has the customer followed the grille fit adjustment instructions for that SnapPlate version?
