The second shows the main truck bed. Please do watch the first few minutes of each section (the lift-up panel and the main deck), use the Chapters to skip around.

  • Clean the surface of the truck bed edge with isoprop alcohol [02:08].
  • Peel back a couple of feet of the Xpel piece, and position it in the top corner [03:07].
  • Work your way down, positioning the Xpel piece as you go [03:28].
  • Peel and stick the Xpel, making sure to position it correctly [04:37].
  • Avoid the material sticking to itself [04:07].
  • Once you're happy with the position, you're done [05:22].

Additional tips:

  • It's recommended to install the Xpel in sunshine and a decent temperature, ideally between 55 and 75 degrees Fahrenheit [01:34].
  • If it's cooler, install it in the sunshine; if it's warmer, install it in the shade [02:44].
  • To clean the Xpel armor, you can simply jet wash it down [05:33].
